Mako needs knee surgery

Hello,
Recently my 5 year old dog, Mako, was diagnosed as having a complete rupture of his hind left ACL and a partial rupture of the right. As a result, he is in constant pain and discomfort and even short walks can leave him limping.
The good news is that this can all be corrected via surgery.
The bad news is that the surgery is very expensive.
I have posted a goal of 5000 dollars but, if I am being honest, that will not cover half of the costs. I intend to put every resource I have into Makos surgery but the recent pandemic has meant that my freelance income has been less than it would be normally.
He is a very sweet dog and the center of my world. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
