Funeral and Medical Expenses for Bryce

Bryce was admitted to Children's hospital on June 11th and is still currently an inpatient. If anyone knows Bryce, you know he has a long complicated medical history.   Since his admittance, he had to undergo an emergency surgery to fix his intestines that were malrotated.  Bryce's pain did not subside and a 2nd surgery was required to fix his large intestines that had retwisted, ripped and released gases into his abdomen. Unfortunately due to his rare condition (only 9 other people in the world have this), his insurance company will not cover the majority of his medical expenses.   Bryce is fighting the fight (#builtturtletuff) with the love and support from family and friends.   Please share this to help Joy and Kevin with some of Bryce's medical expenses.  Any contribution is appreciated more than you know. Bryce Daniel Posey was born 7/24/2003. From the minute he was born, his parents knew he was extraordinary and has proved so each day after. After only 25 weeks in the womb, Bryce and his twin sister, Breeana decided to begin their journey into the world. Born only 1lb. 9oz., Bryce had a complicated first three months of his life. Shortly after birth, he had physical traits that stood out to doctors. After genetic testing, it was discovered that Bryce was missing a piece of a chromosome, then diagnosed as "3P deletion". Due to its rare condition, little to no research has been performed or can be found. Since birth he has seen several specialists to try and understand his condition better. As of now, Bryce has moderate hearing loss, deformity in his retinas, extremely low muscle tone, is unable to communicate with words and is strictly G-tube fed. Despite it all, he is a very happy child. In 2010, Bryce spent 14 days in Children's Hospital due to an extreme discoloration of his skin and fatigue. His hemoglobin and platelet levels were dangerously low. During that stay he receive 5 blood transfusions and numerous platelet and plasma transfusions. With extensive testing, everything came back negative. He received steroid treatments and over the days his hemoglobin levels started to stabilize and then slowly rose on their own and he was released back home.
