Robyn is only 29 - Diagnosed with rare Cancer.

I know we are all going through a lot right now, but I really wouldn’t ask for help if I didn’t need it.

Although we aren’t related, anyone that knows me knows that Robyn is my sister. She’s my twin, my soulmate, her family is my family and vice versa. At the age of 29, Robyn has been diagnosed with a Malignant Neuroendocrine Tumor of the Pancreas that has also spread to her liver.

This is extremely rare not only because of her age, but also her overall health. Robyn is an athlete who doesn’t smoke or drink. But more importantly, she’s just a wonderful person.

She’s a 4th grade Math and Science teacher at a Title 1 school in Charlotte, NC and was just named Teacher of the Year because of all the effort she puts in. She goes out of her way to help her students, friends, and family.

She will always put others before herself, even now. Robyn has had stomach pains for a few weeks. She thought she had a food sensitivity so she switched up her diet. When the symptoms continued to worsen, she went to the doctor. Pretty much overnight, her whole life was flipped upside down. She has insurance, but the expenses have already reached into the thousands.

Even now, Robyn has the best attitude of us all. She is still out here shining her light on everyone. My hope is that we can help lessen the financial burden, so Robyn and her family can focus 100% on her recovery.
