Brian Quiñones was murdered by 5 police officers from Edina and Richfield, MN in September 7, 2019 in front of his wife and 12 year old son. The Quiñones family filed a civil lawsuit for the wrongful death of Brian against the City of Edina and the City of Richfield. Brian would still be here had the departments followed their own policies and procedures regarding traffic stops and use of force.<br /><br />Brian was a father, husband, brother, son, grandson.  He was a rapper, who released his last album the morning of his murder.  He often gave his last dollar to those who needed it.<br /><br />That case is coming quickly and the family needs to raise $150,000 to pay for case fees and expert witnesses to testify about the failures of the officers involved and the failures of the cities to properly train their officers that resulted in Brian’s murder.  It is CRITICAL that these funds are raised because in police involved murders, cities typically have 5-10 expert witnesses themselves, at a cost of about $25,000 each.  This gives them an unfair advantage and ultimately is yet another way the system oppressed the people.  <br /><br />**Any funds not used for Brian’s case will be donated to another family to fight for justice for their loved one.**<br /><br />————————————————————————<br /><br />
