Maura's Wish

Maura is a 24 year old with four brothers who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last week. She went from living a perfectly normal life to spending her days in a hospital bed fighting Leukemia. Last Friday, with the support and participation of her brothers, she shaved her head before the cancer could take her hair from her. She has a very strong chance of recovery and is expected to be dismissed from the hospital within the next two months. After shaving her head, Maura expressed the desire to have a wig made from her own hair to try and recreate her former physical appearance. A friend of hers saved a ponytail of her hair and another friend has agreed to donate some of her hair to provide enough to make a wig.
