Do You Want to Be Allah's Neighbor?

Dear Brothers and Sister, Assalam Alykom.

I would like to begin first by praising Allah (swt) for all of His blessings that He has bestowed on us and to ask Him, the Almighty, to bestow His blessings and mercy upon those that have been so generous in our time of need. The following is an update on our campaign and our payment status:
As you may be aware of, that the remaining balance of the loan our our masjid was $304K as of August 8th 2020, and it is, as of today March 28th 2021, $193,600 Alhamdulillah.
We have saved the masjid on August of last year from going for foreclosure and have paid the outstanding default amount for the year 2020, and since then we have been paying our monthly payment of $3,200 each month Alhamdulillah.

$60k by May 31st, 2021

MAS Iowa Center's Current Payment Arrangement and the coming payment: The total remaining payoff amount on the masjid is $193k, which is scheduled to be paid at a rate of $95,000/year for the next two years. Payments are structured as following: $3,200/month, which we have never failed to pay and a payment of $60,000 on May 2021 and 2022, which we had difficulty in paying last year because of the pandemic. MAS Iowa is asking for your help in collecting $60k before the May 31st and we are sure Allah swt will bless us to save His house.

History of the building:
The masjid 35k square foot building was purchased back in 2010 for the price of $1 million. Throughout the last 10 years about $800,000 have been paid off Alhamdulillah.  

Quick Facts:  The MAS Center in Iowa serves 200+ refugee families monthly through free groceries, furniture donations and access to vital resources. The center helped set up more than a dozen businesses run by refugees from Somalia and Iraq since 2006 Alhamdulillah. More than 150 low-income families and senior citizens receive free groceries weekly through the center.
More than 100+ community members pray Jumuah at the center every week where the five daily prayers are also conducted each day. The center offers Quran and Tajweed classes, Martial arts classes for children and youths, matrimonial services, community events and more. A full gymnasium offers Muslim youth numerous opportunities for recreational activities. The MAS Iowa Center has faced a foreclosure on August of last year, but with the help of Allah (swt) and the support of many donors in Iowa and from the surrounding areas, the payment was made before the deadline and the Masjid was saved Alhamdulillah. With your contributions, we hope to continue the legacy of supporting our community for many years to come!
