My name is Elizabeth Tran. I am a fashion model and salon owner from Denver, Colorado. My salon is located in Denver and primarily focuses on offering nail care services that include nail enhancements, waxing, shellac manicures, pedicures, to local residents. Our business sees to it that all our clients, irrespective of their ages, get utmost care services through being attentive to their needs. We aim to ensure all our clients look good so that they can feel good about themselves. We achieve this by surpassing their expectations and ensuring that our services do not strain their budgets. We take care of our clients in a safe environment with a unique ambience meant to ensure that they feel secure as we serve them inside our premises. After the coronavirus outbreak, the government advised businesses to practice social distancing and issued stay-at-home directives that have affected my business negatively. Things are no longer the same for me and my business. The virus pandemic has robbed me my customers, the majority who decided to stay at home and minimise human contact as much as possible. This shift has hit my business hard given the nature of salon services requires human contact at all times. Being unable to run my business successfully has affected my ability to provide for my family and they depend on me as their breadwinner. I have a website and I am planning to use the funds to conduct a digital marketing campaign. The campaign will help me recover by reaching out to my clients, assuring them how our salon is implementing recommended health protocols to fight the coronavirus, and growing my brand. I plan to revamp my website by redesigning it and enhancing it with content. I also plan to use the funds to drive organic growth to my social media pages, and in running a paid search engine marketing campaign. I will also print leaflets and brochures to give my loyal customers so that they can spread the word about my business and the new content from my website. Part of the content will be educational and will aim at educating people about basic hygiene practices to help fight the current COVID-19 outbreak. I need the funds soonest so that I can start with hiring a freelance website designer, graphics designer to design visual content for social media marketing. This funding means a lot to me. I have been operating this salon for 15 years now and I have to build my life around its success. I have a supportive family who depends on my success during these difficult economic times. Success means I will be able to provide for them and also continue with my beauty and fashion career. I believe that despite the business disruption from the coronavirus epidemic, I still have loyal customers who want my services. I want to reach out to them and I believe I will get back on my feet. I will show my gratitude by sharing my success story with other small businesses so that they can be successful too.
