YEN’S FIGHT FOR LIFE #FightWithYen #YensFightForLife #YensLifeMatters Hello everyone! Earlier this year, our dearest Rheena, fondly called as Yen, was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Metastatic Carcinoma. It is very aggressive that it has easily progressed to Stage 4. Yen has been fighting with this critical illness fearlessly for months as she deals with chronic body pains and an intermittent fever even prior to knowing her illness and its phase. As the world also battles to get better from a global pandemic, Yen’s fight against this cancer has been massively affected. It became difficult for her to undergo a series of tests and procedures as hospitals were seen as an unsafe battleground to fight. However, on May 12th, she had to be hospitalized due to difficulty in breathing as her haemoglobin level immensely dropped to 4.1, which needed an immediate blood transfusion. Her stay in the hospital took almost a month as looking for blood donors was also an ordeal, alongside knowing the cause of her intermittent fever and the pending result of her tissue biopsy to correlate with her PET scan in April. As her body demands the treatment as soon as possible, she was advised to take her first chemotherapy, which was administered on June 2nd. We have started this campaign to help cover all of the other upcoming expenses for her chemotherapy treatment over the next weeks and months. Yen and her family have exhausted some of their savings and funds for several diagnostic tests and procedures including a CT Scan Guided Spinal Biopsy and a PET Scan. The costs of Yen’s recent hospitalization was extremely high, and it was also with the help of her family, friends and colleagues that she was able to pay the hospital bills. Currently, Yen is working as a Freelance Architect and Property Consultant who is earning enough money to sustain her family’s daily living expenses. Her mother is a widowed senior citizen who has also had several illnesses in the past. She has a sister who is now married but is still helping them in their monthly household expenses and allowances. The costs of her upcoming treatments can be unreasonably high without any health insurance to cover up for the expenses. They are estimating a monthly chemotherapy costing around $5,000 with all other related expenses in every hospital session. Given these difficult circumstances, Yen and her family need financial assistance this time. On their behalf, we are appealing to your kind and generous heart to help Yen fight against this horrible illness. We would be very much grateful for any amount that every person gives in Yen’s Fight For Life fund. We highly appreciate your donations, in whatever amount you can share, as they are tantamount to your support, value and importance over Yen’s life. This way, Yen will never be alone in this battle. From the bottom of our hearts, we humbly ask that you share this campaign link as well with your family, friends, colleagues and the community, and help us keep this Yen’s Fight For Life fund active and going. It means so much for Yen’s family given their current financial situation, especially amidst the difficulties this global pandemic brings. Lastly, please continue praying for Yen and make her feel that her life, above all, matters. Thank you very much and may God bless each and every one of you! With full of hope and gratitude, Yen, Flores Family and Friends (plus Pericles and Chubby - Yen’s Cats
