On January 16, 2015 my son was born at 24 weeks 15oz. It was one of the toughest moments I had ever experienced in my life ,watching my child fight for his life and not even being alive long enough to even open his eyes. He was air lifted to Iowa city NIC U, where he was there for six months until he was healthy enough to breath and start doing things on his own. He was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, which is when you have an abnormal brain development from being born to early. When you experience things in life, it opens your eyes and make you realize how importantly it is to make yourself knowledgeable of other things in life that you have seen but never took the time to actually study and research, so your aware and how serious it is. It make u want to do something to make others aware as well. I want to build a research and activity center to study and research ways to improve and eventually cure cerebral palsy and also allow children and adults with cerebral palsy to come and receive therapy and be able to enjoy interacting with others.
