Ellese and Garrett Fund

As some of you already know there was an accident at our daughter’s apartment. Her boyfriend was walking down the outdoor wooden stairs when part of the stairs gave way and he fell almost 2 stories down to the pavement. Amazingly he had no broken bones but has a severely injured shoulder, bruised ribs and headaches. Ellese, who was only 2 steps behind him escaped injury and we are thankful for that! The occupants of the two apartments next to her were evacuated with help from the fire department. None of them are allowed to return until major repairs have been made (which looks like it will take several weeks at this point). Garrett has just recently started a new job and so health insurance hasn’t kicked in yet. He is also unable to work right now due to the shoulder injury, he is awaiting an MRI and further treatment. We are looking to establish a fund to help them temporarily with housing, meals, medical expenses, etc . - (Jeff has been sick and due to the Covid-19 precautions we are not having anyone come here-he and I were tested and we are awaiting results).
