21 day's sober for Firefly

Firefly provides free transport to local cancer patients and families through in Doncaster to treatment hospitals door to door. Run by volunteers and without government funding.

When I found out my mum had cancer Chris as time last year, it really is the little things you don't consider and firefly took all that stress away transporting my mum, my sisterand my dad two and from Western Park Hospital for my mum's treatment. The drivers are refreshingly genuine, kind and compassionate.

What am I doing?

To be able to drive the volunteers have to give up several things, Time with their families, social events and here goes nights on the booze. 

I remember me being me young at twenty one saying to my mum 'wait so they can't even have a drink the night before then because they are a responsible for so many people'

SO that's what I'm doing, for 21 Days I am scrapping the booze completely which for me if you know me is going to be a challenge. Not a single drop of alcohol from today. Thursday the 11th of July untill Thursday the 1st of August.
