Homeless And Living Out Of Friends Car

Me and my boyfriend recently moved back to where he grew up to get away from some bad influences.we had a friend to stay with and being a server and bartender figured we could get jobs pretty quick. However a week after we moved all restaurants were shut down due to covid,which also caused our friend to lose his house (where we were staying) having nowhere to go we ended up homeless. Luckily one of his friends from high school was kind enough to loan us his car so we didnt have to sleep outside. We have both been looking for jobs every day however my bf has a felony from 10 years ago and cant find anywhere that will hire him. And I was in a severe car accident about 6 months ago which almost killed me and am still recovering mentally and physically. We have a few possible job opportunities coming up which hopefully turn out good, but we are so far behind we canr afford to save any money. We have also had his friends car for almost 2 months and feel we need to give it back as soon as we can. We arnt looking for much, just enough for a cheap car we can continue to live in while we get jobs and rebuild a life we once had. Also if possible we would also like to be able to pay back his friend for being kind enough to loan his car to us during these extremely tough times. (Saying thank you, just doesnt seem like its enough)
