SOS Single Black Mother Needs Help!!

Hello Everybody- A very dear friend of ours is suffering under the boot of carceral oppression- i.e: she currently has a warrant for her arrest due to failure to pay court fees of $1500. She's caught in the classic Catch-22 of not being able to pay due to not be able to work, because they locked her up & also because of the COVID epidemic. Please help a struggling mother and her child out. $1500 is a serious burden for one single mom who is also part of a systemically marginalized population, due to her race, ethnicity, orientation, and disability. It is not, however, a whole lot of money for a few kind people to collectively raise, especially when it's the difference between her son having his mother or being thrown into the horror of the foster care system. The money will go directly towards getting her out of the state penile system, which is currently threatening incarceration for money.
