Help Me Doula!

Hi everyone. I am Cassandra. I am a mom of 2 sunshine babies and 2 angel babies. I had a traumatic pregnancy and birth with both my daughters. I lost 2 pregnancies in 2019. Through it all, I looked for support from family and friends, but they were not equipped to truly provide me with tips on how to heal, physically and emotionally. When I found out about birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and pregnancy loss doulas, I felt I had found my calling. I want to help carrying parents through the toughest yet most beautiful parts of their lives. I want to be there to help families cope with the unexpected challenges in their relationships, the changes in the bodies, and minds. But I need help. Due to COVID, I have not been able to work. I am home schooling my special needs daughter and caring for my toddler. I am also virtually supporting my grandparents. I do not have the money to properly prepare myself to provide support to the marginalized people I so wish to support. I need funding to pay for additional trainings (or even scholarships if there are organizations willing to offer them)! I would like to take sex doula training, full spectrum doula training, death doula training, and lactation consultant courses. There are books required that I need to purchase. I would like to ensure that I am accessible to all clients in my area, so I need funding to set up a successful social media presence and I need to be able to support clients, even those who are not able to pay a fee. Any donations are welcomed. I will be setting up an Amazon wishlist with the books I need as I find out what they are. With Covid changes in the way we interact, I want to still be able to provide Bereavement support to those in need for free.
