Michael Z Salon Looted: Help Alma Perez Rebuild
Donation protected
On May 31, 2020 my Mother’s beautiful Salon was ransacked, and completely destroyed due to the rioting and looting, that took place in Downtown Sacramento. We arrived last night to find her Salon was broken into, with thousands of dollars stolen in products, including professional scissors, blow dryers, curling irons, shampoos, conditioners, and every possible beauty product you could think of. Glass was shattered absolutely everywhere, and nail polish looked like it exploded all over the floors and splattered throughout the ground. Even though we were inside and trying to salvage anything the looters left, we faced more looters trying to enter her Salon as we were inside trying to clean up! This happened twice being in Downtown during the night of the looting.
The police never showed up, they drove by a couple times as people were driving around looking for places to steal from. She was one of the many small business owners, that were hit excruciatingly hard during these unprecedented times of greed, senselessness, and down right savagery. She has worked over 40 years in the Cosmetology industry, to finally own her very first salon, and in a blink of an eye everything she worked so hard and long for was gone.
Please any amount helps, any donation is appreciated. My mom did not want me to create an account for her, but she has worked too hard and is way too nice to everyone who comes her way, for her to go through this alone. Thank you all for your kindness and listening to our story, God Bless you all! ♥️
