Help Reopen & Save BrokenWeCanFixIt - LA Looting

Help save “Broken We Can FIx It”. On Friday May 29th during the riots , our business got looted and destroyed, 95% of our merchandise and equipment is gone . I am a small business owner , working very hard to grow my business and give honest and affordable service to the great people of Los Angeles , i offer repair services for all phones and computers and sell phone accessories. I opened my store at 2004 and served thousands since then . I always treat every customer with respect and honesty. We had very difficult 2 and a half months since the Corona Virus started to spread and we had to close down our business after sales went down to 0 . I managed to survive and wait till we finally can go back to business. Saturday morning May 30th I saw some hope , customers started to come again i thought I was going to managed to get my store on the right track . And then the Riots and looting started, I never believed this could happen in MY CITY, MY AREA ,MY STORE ! My store is at the Beverly Connection I never thought this can ever happen inside a shopping center . Around 5 pm it all started I get a notification on my phone from my camera app there is someone inside my store after we closed . I see a large group of ppl braking my glass doors and entering my store , I rushed there without thinking , when I get to the store I see ppl coming in and out with all my stuff , I tried to stop them and almost got killed , it’s so hard to see this it was like a war zone this ppl didn’t have a soul they didn’t care to hurt anyone and damage everything, I grabbed 2 boxes with whatever I can and ran from there . It was too dangerous. Every single store at the Beverly connection got hit Target , Chase , Marshall’s, Saks Off 5th , Spectrum ,Verizon . They only different between me and them is that my store is tiny and privetly owned , I don’t have a corporate office behind me . Everything They damaged was built by my hand with lots of hard work . I had customers phones and iPads that they left for repair - all got stolen now I need to buy new ones for my customers , I had phones and computers for sale that I purchased with my business savings in order to make a little profit also gone , 90% of my inventory was gone , accessories, cases , phone and computers parts worth thousands of dollars all gone . Expensive equipment to repair the phones that took me years to get all was gone . What ever they didn’t steal they broke . I found one of my microscopes inside the chase bank , they used it to break the glass . Worst part of the story is that I called the insurance company and found out they Don’t cover anything , they told me : “I’m sorry but your insurance is Liability only ,we don’t cover damages to property or merchandise “ . This truly heart braking . We work so hard all this years just so one day someone come and decide to take it all away from you .
