20th anniversary\ Bucket list

Hello to everyone, Matt Simmers here...
Those of you who know me understand that I'm not one to ask for anything.
But this page is for Gail, my wife of nearly 20 years.

Gail was diagnosed in 2017 with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The cancer had migrated from her breast to her spine, nearby lymph nodes, and her liver.
She has gone through multiple chemo sessions, from IV, to injected and oral.
The disease has not grown or spread to any other areas as of now.

We recently moved from a villa in Largo which was foreclosed, on to Clearwater.
Somehow during the moving process, Gail contracted an infection in her port, which led to sepsis. She is currently in Morton Plant hospital. Now that the port has been removed, and the infection under control, she'll be coming home with hospice care to get strong again.

Gail's birthday is coming up soon, her thirty-sixth consecutive 25th one, and our 20th anniversary is in December. She and I have never had a honeymoon, per se, so I'd like to be able to make these two events kind of special. She has talked about Mardi Gras, the beach and lots of other places. Once she is home and gets stronger, I can ask her what she wants.

I've hesitated about starting this page for Gail. With all the conflict and uncertainty going on in America now, it seems somewhat miniscule in comparison
to what others are going through.

Gail is a strong woman and hasn't given up. Being the optimist that I am, I guessing she will pester me for at least another 6-12 months. The phrase
"Sooner rather than later" comes to mind.

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for your time, and any assistance you can provide.
