Help Save Mascha From FIP

Donation protected
Hello everyone! Mascha, our wonderful little 4yo Maine Coon is suffering from the terminal disease FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), which is caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus (different virus from COVID-19 and only affects cats). We 'rescued' her and her sister from a shelter 2 years ago. Recently our vet diagnosed her and told us if we were lucky, she had a few weeks to live. We were shocked and in disbelief - we don't want to give up on her and she doesnt seem to want to give up either. We came across a new possibly life saving treatment: GS-441525. This requires an injection daily for at least 84 days, then 84 days of observation, watching for possible relapses. Chances are supposed to be good that this once fatal disease might be overcome. The downside: the treatment is extremely expensive, and has extra costs; vitamins/supplements, vet visits/frequent blood tests and extra medical equipment. We're trying to get the money together, but if anyone out there is willing to and would like to donate, we would appreciate it very much. Every little bit adds up, and helps us help her to hopefully beat this terrible disease. Thanks from Jenn, Mirko and Mascha. We will be posting regular updates on here, and you can also follow Mascha's (and her big sister Misa's) journey on Instagram: www.instagram.com/misa.mascha
