1,200 Returned Help Me repay Act Of Kindness

Hello my name is Michelle Alvarado and my dad is Antonio Hernandez. He recently was featured in news article, and honestly it was some feel good news. My dad is the sole bread winner of my family, since my parents were in a car accident around 2 years ago. It was not their fault, the other driver ran a red light, because he was on his phone. Ever since than my mom has been unable to work and suffers from inflammation and pain everyday. Working from sunrise to sundown is also taking its toll on my dad. I myself see him work thru all aches and pains from the accident each and everyday. If I could describe my dad in 2 words they would be “Hard Working” he works 3 part time jobs on and off to keep bread on the table for our family. My dad never thought a regular day on the job would turn into an interview and articles about him. The story started at a carwash in Greenville NC, while taking out the trash my dad spotted a payment in the trash. The payment turn out to be a $1,200 stimulus check. In this uncertain times all my dad wanted to do, was get the check to the owner asap. That same day my dad contacted me anxiously and asked  me for help contacting the owner. We set out to do just that, the same day. Luck was on our side and we felt relief and joy at finding Mr.Thompson. We handed him the check in his hand and listen to his story. He is a veteran, who due to moving believed he wasn’t going to received the help he desperately needed. He is now a construction worker, who works day to day earning a living. He himself has no idea on how the check ended up in an Evans St carwash, that’s still a mystery. He shared with us, that never got to changing his address and that may be how the mix up got started. He was behind on rent and the money helped put him on the right track, to get back on his feet. He thanked us and was very grateful, that we went that extra mile to help him. This good deeds  just reminds me of type of person my dad is and is teaching me to be. Someone that goes far beyond what their duties intel in order to help others. Someone who does the right thing simply because, Its The Right Thing To Do. My dad is an amazing person, doing many more good deed than he is recognize for. My dad is my superhero is very sense of the word, but even super heroes need help too. I am making this go fundme and humbly ask for your help and support, no amount is too small to give back to him. Like I mention before my mom is in pain everyday and my dad is too. I am hoping this money helps them go to the doctors and get more help than what’s in our tight budget. We do not have insurance that’s why help has been very limited for us. I am a daughter that is also unemployed and feeling at times helpless. Helpless to only offer back rubs and Advil for when the pain when it flares up. In normal circumstances I would do what my dad has always taught me to do, get up and work hard. No fue su culpa, el otro conductor pasó una luz roja, porque estaba en su teléfono. Desde entonces, mi madre no ha podido trabajar y sufre de inflamación y dolor todos los días. Mi padre nunca pensó que un día normal en el trabajo se convertiría en una entrevista y artículos sobre él. La historia comenzó en un lavado de autos en Greenville, Carolina del Norte, mientras sacaba la basura, mi padre vio un pago en la basura. El pago resultó ser un cheque de estímulo de $ 1,200. En estos tiempos inciertos, todo lo que mi padre quería hacer era llevar el cheque al propietario lo antes posible. Ese mismo día mi papá me contactó ansiosamente y me pidió ayuda para contactar al dueño. Nos propusimos hacer exactamente eso, el mismo día. La suerte estaba de nuestro lado y sentimos alivio y alegría al encontrar al Sr. Thompson. Le entregamos el cheque en la mano y escuchamos su historia. Es un veterano que, debido a cambios de domicilio, creía que no iba a recibir la ayuda que necesitaba desesperadamente. Ahora es un trabajador de la construcción, que trabaja día a día para ganarse la vida. Él mismo no tiene idea de cómo terminó el cheque en un lavado de autos de Evans St, eso sigue siendo un misterio. Él compartió con nosotros, que nunca cambió su dirección y así cree que es como empezó la confusión. Estaba atrasado en el alquiler y el dinero ayudó a ponerlo en el camino correcto, para volver a ponerse de pie. Nos dio las gracias y estaba muy agradecido por haber hecho un esfuerzo adicional para ayudarlo. Estas buenas acciones solo me recuerdan el tipo de persona que mi papá es y me está enseñando a ser. Alguien que va mucho más allá de lo que intentan sus deberes para ayudar a otros. Alguien que hace lo correcto simplemente porque, es lo correcto. Mi papá es una persona increíble, hace muchas más buenas acciones de las que reconoce. Mi papá es mi superhéroe, en todo el sentido de la palabra, pero incluso los superhéroes también necesitan ayuda. Estoy haciendo que este GOFUNDME humildemente pido su ayuda y apoyo, ninguna cantidad es demasiado pequeña para devolverle. Como mencioné antes, mi mamá tiene dolor todos los días y mi papá también. Espero que este dinero los ayude a ir a los médicos y obtener más ayuda de la que tenemos en nuestro apretado presupuesto. No tenemos seguro, por eso la ayuda ha sido muy limitada para nosotros. Soy una hija que también está desempleada y que a veces se siente impotente. Incapaz de ofrecer solo masajes en la espalda y Advil para cuando el dolor estalla. En circunstancias normales, haría lo que mi padre siempre me enseñó a hacer, levantarme y trabajar duro. Lo siento si pido demasiado, un share cuesta solo unos pocos clics.
