Save Eddie's Smile

This page has been created to take care of someone who always puts others before himself, my truly wonderful husband, Eddie Montesa.

Eddie works so hard every day to make sure his family and friends are taken care of. In doing this he lets his own needs fall by the wayside. Right now, he is making sacrifices so that I can go to school to follow my dream, which in the end will make things better for our family, the road to get there is a bit rocky.

So here's whats up:

Not long ago Eddie broke one of his teeth in an accident. Because he was not regularly employed at the time, he opted for a quick fix instead of a more costly repair. Well, the time is up...due to the damage, all of the surrounding teeth have begun to crack and break. It has gotten to the point where eating is difficult for him, and I have been watching the person whom I love more than any other waste away. Seeing as Eddie and really good food seem to go hand in hand, this is just not OK. So, we talked to some dentists, got some quotes, and had a treatment plan laid out. Eddie needs a lot of work...everything from extractions to bone grafting, and with the large amount of work comes a large price tag. Thankfully, the amazing people at BIG SMILE DENTAL will be pulling some of Eddie's teeth as part of their Valentine's Day charity event. This will hopefully cut down our costs a bit. I left my full time job to go to school, almost all of the money coming in is needed for our general living expenses, so we're trying to find a way to make this work for him.

What am I up to?

Well, I am going to be raising some funds on my own though the sale of most of my possessions...that means my lovely shoe collection too, all you size 7 ladies out there. I'll take what I make off the total that we need.
