The Bravest Girl Ever

Carolina is a  sweet, hard working 26 year old woman. She met this guy “Chris” May 5 when she was working for Uber, she took him from a rental car located in Charlotte Ave Nashville to fesslers Ln Nashville . She ended the ride on the app since they reached the destination. He needed a ride to Cleveland Tn and he wasn’t able to rent a car because he didn’t have proof of residency. Thats what he shared with Carolina. So he asked Carolina to take him to Cleveland Tn and would pay her cash.. Her bills started to accumulate because she wasn’t able to work, march and april. Due to her having a history of asthma, she was afraid to catch the virus. As we know people with asthma are more vulnerable to it. She took a risk with a few people to manage her bills trying to do uber and thats when she met him. She saw an opportunity to make extra money with a guy whom seemed to be an honest and harding working person. Everything went well with Uber so she agreed to do it. Everything went good on the “first cash ride” to Cleveland so he told her if she could give him a ride back to Nashville when the “18 wheel truck” was ready and done with a transmission problem that it was having. So she agreed to give him her phone number to call her when it was ready. Thursday he called her to let her know that they called him from the truck place and the truck was going to be ready Friday at 5PM. He asked her if she could pick him up and take him to the mechanic shop. She agreed. Friday, May 8 -she headed towards the same hotel she dropped him off at and he was waiting on her at the front of the hotel. He had three bags, two which he had put in the back and one that he put next to him like a hand bag. Then he asked her if he could smoke a cigarette for a second outside the car. She a agreed. Thats when she snapped a picture of him to share with her mother. He got in the vehicle and pointed out a white Hyundai across the parking lot which he said was his. She asked him why he didn’t drive it to Nashville and he responded that he needed both vehicles to stay in Cleveland Tennessee, which made sense to her because he lives there. Then she proceeded with the ride. He started opening up to her about his life. Presenting himself as a family guy. He didn’t say anything weird, everything was going normal for about 35 minutes on the road. Out of nowhere he pointed a knife to her ribs and told her to listen to him. He told her to keep driving and act normal. He said “don’t slow down the car and don’t speed up. Drive normal.” So she started to beg him for her life. He then proceeded to put the knife to her throat and told her to give him her phone. She was so afraid for her life, but she knew she had to do something. She decided to make the most bold and brave decision I have ever heard of. She quickly opened the door and jumped out of her car that was moving at 55 mph into the fast lane of the interstate. That is where she slammed her head onto the pavement. She broke her front 3 teeth and her leg was ran over by the tire of her own vehicle. The guy jumped into her seat and drove off with her car, that included her purse, laptop and other personal belongings. She was left unconscious for what we believe was a few minutes on the side of the fast lane of the highway. She regained consciousness and was waving while crawling to the opposite side of traffic, trying to get someone’s attention. Thanks to some good samaritans who stopped to help her, they realized she was dazed off. She hysterically begged the samaritans to not leave her side, thinking that her kidnapper would return for her. They called 911 then the police, firefighters and ambulance arrived quickly. They transported her to the nearest hospital. Then she was transported to a second Hospital. Thanks to her brave decision to jump out of her own moving car, she's still alive. She is so blessed to have gotten away and we (her family and friends) are so thankful she is alive. The car was found but she’s left with a huge emergency room bill, Ambulance bills, x-rays and many more things that they did to her to make sure she was OK! She needs all the help that she can get to be able to pay for these medical bills. Also this will help her regular bills she already pays for while shes recovering at home. I am her brother and I am trying to get as many people as possible to help her in this hard time..anything helps! Thank you in advance for any donations. Let’s help her get back on her feet and let her know she’s not alone! We both made one not knowingly of each others. We dont how to delete one but they are both legitimate, we are trying to figure out how to combine the 2 ! If you know how we would love to know so that we can combine the capaigns. Thank you all.
