Year 6 and Year 12 Shirts for Adelaide North Special School

Donation protected
Hi, we’re Bri and Sam, two mums of students at Adelaide North Special School (ANSS).
Like many parents of children with additional needs, we’ve come to understand that our kids often miss out on the traditional milestones many mainstream students experience — things like school camps, formals, graduations, and end-of-year celebrations.
We wanted to change that.

Why This Matters
Year 6 and Year 12 are huge milestones in any child’s life. They represent growth, perseverance, and achievement — and our children deserve to have these moments recognised and celebrated too.
That’s why we created the idea of commemorative shirts for ANSS Year 6 and Year 12 students — just like mainstream schools do — to give families a tangible keepsake marking this important stage of their child’s journey.
Something they can wear proudly.
Something parents can keep forever.
Something that says “You did it.”

Our Goal
Thanks to Sam’s incredible work, we’ve secured a supplier and placed the order.
Our goal is to ensure every eligible student receives at least one commemorative shirt at no cost to their family.
Given the socio-economic realities many ANSS families face, we believe financial barriers should never stand in the way of celebrating our children.

ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE COMMEMORATIVE UNIFORMS ONLY.

What We’re Raising For
The total cost depends on what we’re able to provide per student:
1 shirt per student – $1,500
1 shirt + 1 hoodie per student – $3,045
2 shirts + 1 hoodie per student – $4,650
3 shirts per student – $4,185
Every dollar raised goes directly toward covering these costs and increasing what we can provide to each child.
