<div>Fundraising kicks off March 3 and will culminate in an all-bands and choirs Play-a-thon on Monday, April 6th! Our parent committee is working hard to ensure this is a fun-filled day for musicians.

<div>Who we are: We are TEMPO, the Tumwater Middle School PTO committee devoted to supporting music education at our school. The Tumwater Middle School PTO is a 501c3 nonprofit, so all donations are tax deductible. Our EIN is 871380669.

<div>Our $30,000 goal - that’s about $67 per music student - allows TEMPO to continue our current level of support to our band program and grow our support for the choir program next year.

<div>Thanks to the tremendous success of our 2025 Play-a-thon, this year TEMPO is able to support band and choir with a budget that includes:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Professional instructors to work with every section in every band at least five times this school year - $15,000
</li>
<li>Uniform/Parade band t-shirts at no cost to families - $3500
</li>
<li>Supplemental funds for event transportation: $2000 (covers ~2 events)
</li>
<li>Festival and Parade entry fees - $800
</li>
<li>Choir accompanist fund - $1000
</li>
<li>Jazz Band fund - $1000
</li>
<li>Instrument repair – as funds allow
</li>
<li>Plus funds to purchase all sorts of supplies like extra reeds, mallets, parade support, and more!

<li>What we plan to do next year!
