<div>Britannia Winter Trail is back for Year 7! Our mission is to provide multi-use urban winter pathways that are welcoming and inclusive to everyone and all forms of winter sports: cross-country skiing, biking, snowshoeing, and walking.

<div>The trail is free for all users. However, we do need to raise funds to cover our operational expenses (grooming equipment, gas and insurance, signage) and ensure the long-term sustainability of our community trails. This year already, we've encountered an unexpected and hefty snow machine maintenance expense. We are very thankful to all of our sponsors and supporters.

<div>Britannia Winter Trail runs through Andrew Haydon Park in the west, along the shores of the Ottawa River, through Britannia Park, and along Mud Lake’s border near Lincoln Heights, and east as far as Woodroffe Avenue on both sides of the Kichi Zibi Mikan. The Trail also has a number of programs to help get people out on skis, often for the very first time.

<div>Britannia Winter Trail est de retour pour le septième année ! Notre mission est d'offrir des sentiers hivernaux urbains polyvalents, accueillants et inclusifs pour tous et toutes les formes de sports d'hiver : ski de fond, vélo, raquette ou marche.

<div>Le sentier est gratuit pour tous les utilisateurs. Cependant, nous devons collecter des fonds pour couvrir nos dépenses opérationnelles (équipement de toilettage, essence et assurance, signalisation) et assurer la durabilité à long terme de nos sentiers communautaires. Cette année déjà, nous avons dû faire face à des frais d'entretien imprévus pour une machine à neige. Nous sommes très reconnaissants à tous nos sponsors et supporters.

<div>Le Britannia Winter Trail traverse le parc Andrew Haydon à l’ouest, le long des rives de la rivière des Outaouais, le parc Britannia et le long de la frontière du lac Mud près de Lincoln Heights, et à l’est jusqu’à l’avenue Woodroffe des deux côtés du Kichi Zibi Mikan. Le Sentier propose également de nombreux programmes pour aider les gens à faire du ski, souvent pour la toute première fois.
