2023 World Hoop Dance Championship

Starr Chiefeagle is organizing this fundraiser.
Hello, my name is Starr Chief Eagle and I want to become the next World Hoop Dance Champion. This competition takes place in Phoenix, Arizona February 18th and 19th at the Heard Museum. The Heard Museum will be live-streaming this event on its Facebook page as well as its home page

Many talented Hoop Dancers will be present from across the US and Canada, representing many Native Nations. I might be the only competitor representing the Lakota people as well as the Midwest. I will be one of the few women competing.

I am new at competing and hope that this event can become a yearly tradition for me to take part in. I will not stop challenging myself to put in the work to become a World Hoop Dance Champion.
