2023 Concentio Tour

Since 2005, the Pittsburgh Girls Choir has been committed to transforming the lives of our choristers by creating communities of compassion, excellence, and mutual respect. While our focus is on teaching the beauty of music and performance, we also prioritize teaching self-confidence and leadership through an exemplary music education program for girls in first through twelfth grades, as well as a women's choir.

An important part of our program is our annual Concentio tour where our high school choir gets to travel across the country, and even world, as a community! This June we will travel across Pennsylvania to perform for new audiences, including assisted living facilities in Pittsburgh and Lancaster, take part in master classes, meet singers from other girls choirs, sightsee, and have meaningful experiences together as a choir.

Tours are such an important part of the overall PGC experience, but they also require plenty of planning and expenses. So much goes into a regular PGC season behind the scenes. So, what does it take to keep the Pittsburgh Girls Choir singing, and how are those costs paid for?

Because of the generous support of donors like you, experiences like our annual tours are possible for us and generations of girls to come. Help us create memories that will stay with our choir the rest of our lives!
