Back to School Packs

1 in every 6 children in Australia grows up in poverty. Due to social and economic inequalities, many of these children will be behind before they even set foot through the school gates for the new school year.

In 2022 KENG provided 1,000 back-to-school packs to vulnerable Logan families. These packs included essential school stationery and supplies, such as pens, lead pencils, drink bottles, lunch boxes, backpacks, highlighters, felt pens, colouring pencils, erasers, scissors, sharpeners, exercise books, scrapbooks, crayons, rulers, calculators, hats, etc.

KENG is seeking donations to help the children of Logan get back to school in 2023 by ensuring more kids have the necessary supplies to support them in getting the education they deserve.

No government funding is received by KENG to provide back-to-school packs to the community.
