A collaboration between the Hamilton Halton Junior Golf Tour & Annika Foundation creating memorable golf experiences while focusing on the growth of junior girls golf in Canada.
To showcase junior golf in Canada for under-19 girls by conducting a competition where sucessful qualifiers have the opportunity and exposure to highly coveted junior girls competitions worldwide with exemptions into ANNIKA Invitationals conducted by the ANNIKA Foundation.
Why do we need to fundraise?
We are a non-profit organization, "starting from scratch." Our organiziers are volunteering their time & effort to conduct this sporting event for our female youth in Canada. We do it because we have a passion for golf and want to assure there are opportunities for kids to learn, evolve and experience the fun of the game of golf.
Sourcing the "playing field" and resources to conduct this event has cost. We are seeking $25,000.00 per yr. multiplied by our 3 yr. initial contract to "make it happen!" Please be apart of our quest to provide this opportunity to young female golfers who have a passion to compete at a game they love hoping they too, can assend to be the next great Canadian golfing athlete. Help them to fulfill their aspirations to join the oldest organized professional female sporting association, @ www.lpga.com
The LPGA is the world's leading professional golf organization for women with Tour & Teaching membership representing more than 50 countries.
For nearly 70 years, the LPGA has been “driving on” to create greater opportunity for women. Standing on the shoulders of our 13 Founders and the other outstanding women who came before them, the members of the LPGA today are fully prepared to carry the future on their shoulders. Crushing it everyday so that today’s youth can crush it for the next generation.
The ANNIKA Foundation provides opportunities in women's golf at the junior, collegiate and professional levels while teaching young people the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition.
The ANNIKA Foundation global tournament circuit consists of seven events on five continents. In 2019, more than 600 girls and young women from 60+ countries competed in our events. www.annikafoundation.org
