I am a 30 year old from small town Alberta with a predisposition for adventure and adrenaline. Sports have been the constant in my life and the first place where I found true self expression.
At the age of 18 I began on a journey that would change my entire life. I began training in Skeleton, the Winter Olympic sport where athletes take glorified lunch trays and heart pounding speeds down a mountain, and now 13 years later it is still a core aspect of my life. I stepped away from the sport as an athlete at the age of 24 to focus on school and coaching. And last February my life-long goal of going to the Olympics came true as I was the Head Coach for the Australian Skeleton team.
Now looking ahead at the next 4 year cycle (quadrennial) leading the the Beijing Games I am poised to bring Canada back to the top of the Sliding world as an athlete.
But I need your help.
