Chambersburg Ballet Fall Fundraiser

Tax deductible
For 23 years, the Chambersburg Ballet, the resident dance company of Chambersburg's Historic Capitol Theatre, has brought the beauty and athleticism of classical ballet and contemporary dance to diverse audiences across Franklin County. From Spring Run to Quincy, from The Luhrs Center For The Performing Arts to the Capitol Theatre and points in between, the company's performances have enthralled children and adults of all ages. Last year, as we worked to re-establish our footing after the pandemic, we produced three shows: The Nutcracker, IceFest Dances and Snow White. We provided outreach performances at a local senior living home, Menno Haven and a local street fair, AppleFest. We also coordinated a new fundraiser, Dance-a-thon, a dance recital that featured performances choreographed and produced by students and company dancers.

The Chambersburg Ballet's Board of Directors (the Chambersburg Ballet Guild) is asking for your support for the 2022-2023 performance season. We strive to keep the Chambersburg Ballet affordable and accessible to dancers and audience members. Ticket sales and Tuition cover approximately half of the expenses. Your support is needed to keep our prices reasonable and the arts available to as many as possible.
The 2022-2023 Performance Season includes:

-The Nutcracker (full-length) Sat., Dec. 17th, at 3 & 7 p.m., and Sun., Dec. 18th at 3 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre. This traditional family holiday classic will be fully staged with over 100 colorful handmade costumes featuring two professional Guest Artists.

-The Romance of Dance February 10th & 11th, 2023, in The Wood Center at the Capitol Theater.

-The Little Mermaid June 10th, 2023 at the Capitol Theatre.

Donors will be recognized both in our season programs and on our website (www.chambersburgballet.org) at the following levels:

-Corps de Ballet $25-49
-Soloist $49-100
-Principal $100-250
-Prima $250-500
-Ballet Master $500-1,000
-Impressario $1,000+

Your support will allow dancers of all ages and levels to continue to benefit from the ballet and provide arts experiences for the larger community. Your help is needed to meet the goal of $3,000. Donations to the fall fundraiser will be used as required by the organization or may be designated to specific needs such as Artistic New Works, Community Engagement or Seasonal Works.

Thank You for supporting The Chambersburg Ballet, one of the cultural treasures of Franklin County.
