My Ghana Trip

I have been invited to travel to Ghana with other African-American students from my high school in July! This is a realization of my goal to go to Africa before I graduate in 2021. I can hardly contain my pride and excitement. This trip will ultimately connect me more with my African heritage and leave those of Ghana knowing about another one of their western daughters...me! $4000 will help cover my round trip airplane ticket, hotel and meal expenses, and additional costs of the planned activities. I know that this is a lot of money and I can't do it alone. Even a donation of $10 will bring me closer to reaching my goal.
