Hello! My name is Kendra Watts, I’m a senior majoring in Health Systems Management with a minor in Public Health. I’m from Indian Trail, NC. I am honored to be competing in this Scholarship Pageant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I would love your support!
My platform is centered on Healthy Lifestyles. I want to be able to promote healthy lifestyles in my community among youth and young adults. By doing so I will tell them the benefits of why it is important to incorporate physical activity into their daily routine, eating healthy (meal prepping) and being able to live a longer life by starting these habits early in life! As a Public Health minor I am aware of food deserts and how it can be harder for some individuals to eat healthy. As part of the pageant we have to raise money for our entrance fee, pageant expenses and platform donations. Any amount would be greatly appreciated!
