2020 Professional Golf Season Funding

Donation protected
Hi!

I'm raising money to play full time touring golf in 2020.  I helped cement my confidence by cashing in my first tournament at the 2019 Riviera Open with a top 25 5 under par 137 total score - https://fpgtour.bluegolf.com/bluegolfw/fpgtour19/event/fpgtour193/contest/1/leaderboard.htm . This was my first tour event since early in the year.

I moved down to Florida in the Fall of 2009 from Vermont to play golf full time. I knew if I could get to a warmer winter climate - I would start shooting consistency in the 60's. And I did.

Tragically on my 30th birthday in December of 2010 - I lost control of my vehicle on my way to work and almost died leaving me without any vision whatsoever in my dominant right eye. It now has been ten years of fighting through tremendous struggles and foraging through valleys to get me to the place I am now.
I know what it takes to make it in this game: Dedication, Discipline, Time, Practice, Passion, and unfortunately money :(.  In order to raise the money needed to compete - I need a full time job. If I have a full time job - I'm falling behind the learning curve of the game. For me - this game takes a full commitment. A commitment I can't wait to start. It is burning inside of me. Breathe, eat, live golf.

I choose $10,000 and not $30,000 like others are trying to raise because throughout the last 10 years - I've learned to live humbly off little to nothing. I'm trying to raise this amount by the end of January 2020. I have a part time job at a golf course for playing privileges and a little bit of money. I also have a part time job during the week in eCommerce and Web Design. But this is not enough.

I plan on playing the Florida Professional Golf Tour  locally in the Daytona Beach Area to start - https://fpgtour.com/

There have been times I've found myself sleeping in my car just so I could afford to keep playing golf and getting better. All my hard work and sacrifice has payed off in my most recent result at the 2019 Riviera Open. The check was not much but, the chance to be in contention and be able to turn around a poor first few holes in the second round to post a decent score was invaluable.

I know I can make it to the top in this game! This is where you can help!

Give what you can if your heart is in the right place. If you can't give - please share to your friends.

Much Love & Thank You!
