ABOUT ME!

As the Founder of Mind-Body-Soul Connection LLC inception five years ago, I am influenced by a God-given vision and a heartfelt passion for serving older adults and their caregivers, with the focus of culture and talents in the arts to combat social isolation and loneliness.

Having the privilege to serve the naturally occurring retirement communities, where people are aging in place, respectfully has blessed me to reach a peak of fulfillment  physically, socially, spiritually, emotionally and intellectually.  Knowing that, the most significant component to quality of life is human connection, that's saying that we have served 920 older adults and caregivers in the last four years through our Silver Citizens Social Wellness Programs (SCSWP) presented with local musicians, comedians and a meal, and provides the opportunity for the elderly with health challenges and early stages of memory loss to come together to mingle, be inspired through comedy and entertainment and to share their talents, which has helped enhance quality of life and combat social isolation and loneliness.

Our goal is to broadened the perspectives of aging in place and create an environment to continue to expand our aging audiences through the Silver Citizens Social Wellness Program.   Our SCSWP is inherently unique,  in that it helps older adults and caregivers to have great impact on one another, rekindle family relationships and maintain a sense of purpose to build and restore relationships.

The high impact of our social wellness program is with and through organizations and volunteers outside myself to create more impact in the community than I ever could have achieved alone.

We have a collaborative partnership with Edna Martin Christian Center.  They are a community service organization who serves the low-income elderly population in the Martindale-Brightwood naturally occurring retirement community (NORC), where people are aging in place in Indianapolis, IN.

We will continue to maintain a sense of community connections through collaborative partnership with Edna Martin Christian Center with financial support from community partners, grants, sponsorships and in-kind donations and services.  As our sponsorship continues to grow, one of our goals is to be able to provide honorarium to our guest presenters, entertainers and volunteers.

If your donation and this gofundme campaign  have crossed in delivery, thank you for your generosity! Together let's make a difference in the lives of older adults and family caregivers.

THANK YOU!
