Any additional monies raised will go towards planting two trees at Cedar Grove High School.
After 4 years of usage - many of our American flags are not in the proper condition anymore to be displayed, breaking too easily and are warped. Therefore they needed to be replaced. It’s all about maintaining dignity of the installation.
CEDAR GROVE WAVES is an flag installation featured on the front lawn of Cedar Grove High School in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, in September as a way to remember, educate and honor the 2,977 people who perished on September 11, 2001. The installation features name markers infront of the victim’s home countries.
The installation is on the front lawn of the high school from September 11th to September 23rd.
Cedar Grove high school students are involved in the installation, maintenance and removal of the project, which is now in its 4th year.
