2019 Cosplay Collective Annual Toy Drive

Every year at Christmas, Cosplay Collective raises toys and funds to deliver to the children at The Children's Hospital at Tri-Star Centennial in Nashville, TN. Each child gets a big bag, if they have siblings experiencing their loved one in the hospital at Christmas we include them and give them some gifts also. We also stock the playrooms with items that the children can play with while they are there throughout the year.  This year they have opened a Pediatric Oncology Floor to help the kids with all forms of cancers. That makes two playrooms for us to fill. We are so lucky to be able to visit all the kids throughout the year and bring joy and some smiles when we are able. We have been fortunate to have increased our funds each year and looking forward to breaking our record, but anything will help. The funds go to purchasing specific items requested that we may not have had donated and, specifically, items for the babies and older kids that we usually do not receive appropriate gifts for.  Anything left is used throughout the year to purchase items for visits we make, so we may bring gifts when we are asked to participate in wish granting with Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee or Make-a-wish, and for other things that come up throughout the year. Cosplay Collective is a large group of costumers in Middle Tennessee that make visits to hospitals, senior living spaces, charity events, zoo events, and special events throughout Middle Tennessee, and sometimes beyond. We partner with the Star Wars groups, the Ghostbusters, and other groups in the area to bring the widest variety of characters to entertain and spread joy and love for all. All of our participants are complete volunteers, giving of their skills, talent, and time for nothing more than a smile in return. Any support will mean so much to us and our cause. There is nothing like seeing a child (or an adult for that matter) gleaming with joy when their favorite characters come to say hi! The donations you make gives us another way to add to the joy and show that there are people that care.
