Update 7/19/2019: Just remember, you are witnessing a miracle as I am typing. Friday is nearing and we are also nearing our goal. We need about $17,000. Pray about it, donate, then share the post. Come on folks, this can be done!
Update 7/17/2019: With all donations totaled, we still need to raise $49,000 by July 19, 2019. Keep donating and keep sharing. Our God is in the process of moving a mountain.
Update 7/16/2019: This just in! All donations will be matched! This means we need to raise $125,000 and that will be matched. We have outside donations totaling $67,700 which means we only need $57,300 more. We CAN do this! Whatever you donate WILL be matched.
According to our Board of Education, we have 120 students enrolled for the 2019-2020 school year. 120 students that need the 2019 Challenge to be met. 120 students that need to hear about the love of God from Trinity Lutheran Church and School. Please give a donation - no matter the size - to help this become a reality.
Trinity Lutheran School just celebrated its 60th anniversary of helping students to grow spiritually, academically, and socially for Christian service in our community - Indy's east-side. Trinity is also only 2 years away from celebrating its 150th anniversary in the Indianapolis area. After careful review of Trinity's financial situation, it is clear that Trinity is not able, at the current funding level, to sustain the school through the 2019-2020 school year and may be forced to close its doors.
As Trinity, we believe that a year of learning history, literature, math, and science; a year of growing friendships anchored in God's love; a year of growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus, is God's will for us. The leadership at Trinity brings before you the challenge to raise $250,000 NOW. This money will allow us to provide security and stability for our students, families, and faculty, that we will have a full school year.
Please spend some time in prayer and reflect on how Trinity Lutheran Church and School has impacted your life and your community. Pray that God will open your heart to the knowledge that you can make a difference with your donation - no matter how big! This is an urgent request!
The leadership of Trinity will hear a report on Friday, July 19th about the gifts that have been received and we pray that we will have good news to share with you!
