On Friday March 2, 2018 James Eric Davis Sr. and Diva Davis were tragically killed. James was a Bellwood police officer and a longtime member of the Illinois National Guard.  Diva was an American Airlines Flight Attendant who loved to travel. They were loving and devoted parents who doted on their children. Sadly, their lives were cut short leaving behind two sons, with one in college, and a daughter. Russell, the eldest son who is currently in school for pastoral studies, has now been tasked with attending to the care and upkeep of the estate and the responsibilities left behind from his parents. Then there is the 16 year old daughter Alexis who is in her junior year in high school.  Alexis will now have to go live with extended family, leaving her school and friends and the only life she has known.

Russell and Alexis need your help.  As a result not having a will in place, a long probate process looms ahead.  Not only are there funeral expenses to be paid, they have daily basic needs such as food, clothing, medical and the psychological counseling that will be needed to help them heal. Please help Russell and Alexis through this very difficult time. They have a long road ahead.
