This year the CVHS STEAM Club is fundraising for the 2018 KidWind National Competition to take place on May 8th thru May 11th in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. The annual KidWind National Competition is an engineering event that introduces and expands on student knowledge about wind and renewable energy through the use of wind turbines. Funds will be used to pay for student lodging, meals, transportation, and site visits while in Chicago.

Coachella Valley High School is a Title 1 School in a rural area of Thermal California . The STEAM Club/Engineering students are extremely motivated and are high performers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. They have placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their regional competition to move on the national level competition. They would greatly appreciate your assistance to get them to experience the National KidWind Challenge. Please spread the word . We are trying to raise the entire amount by April 27th, 2018.
