2018 Youth Olympic Games Qualifiers

I am Ashleigh Rose Nubla-Ogan, 16yo from Carson, California.  Friends & family call me "Ash". I live, love & breathe Taekwondo... just ask anyone who know me. :) I train at Salim's Taekwondo Center  in Carson & Redondo Beach, CA with Master Gergely Salim, 1992 Olympic Gold Medalist and his wife, Mrs. Sabrina Salim. I started TKD when I was 4 years old tagging along after my older sister, Liz whenever she goes to practice. Eventually, I joined the classes kicking in the back mats with one of my oldest friends in the sport, Omar Salim.  It has been 12 years since and my love for the sport just turned into great accomplishments and bigger goals. 

To everyone who helped support me in my campaign for the 2nd World Cadet Championship last 2015 in Muju, Korea where I took home a Bronze medal for the US - big hugs and thank you!

My latest competitions in 2017 were US Open (Bronze), Belgian Open (Bronze), President's Cup (Bronze) and Costa Rica Open (Gold).

I just recently came back from Denver, CO where I won 4 tough matches out of 5 earning myself another spot in the US Junior National Team as a 4th time National Team Member.  This time, we are heading to the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Qualifications in Hammamet, Tunisia from April 4-13, 2018.

I would like to ask for your help once again in this journey.  Team USA is sponsoring our registration fees and team apparel, we are on our own for all other expenses.  I sincerely appreciate any donation, big or small, as this will help me reach my ultimate goal - the Olympics.
