I've been coaching inline Speedskating for more than 30 years. I've had the opportunity to travel all over the world and see my skaters compete in the sport that I love.  My dream has always been for inline Speedskating to get to the Olympics, however, this has not happened yet. Many inline skaters have made the switch to ice Speedskating in order to pursue their dreams of Olympic Gold. In 2010, my top two athletes decided to make the transition to ice Speedskating and managed to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. I was unable to make the trip to the Olympics and it was painful not to be there with them. I vowed that no matter what happened, I was going next time! Well, the time is here for me to start making my reservations  to keep the promise I made to myself, as well as, to Joey and Brittany.  The only issue is that the hotel room alone is over $7,000 for the two week event.  The tickets for each race are about $250 and they both will skate multiple races.  So I am reaching out to my friends and  family for support so I can afford to be there for "my kids". I have an "Olympic savings account" but I just never imagined how expensive it would be to go.
