Band Director, Chris Moura, will be riding his bicycle from UCLA to Oak Grove High School in San Jose, CA to raise much needed funding for the OGHS Marching Band & Colorguard program!
During this 4th Annual Ride4MouraMusic, Mr Moura will ride more than 400 miles along the beautiful California coastline, through windy back roads in central California, and about 50 miles on highway 101!
Mr. Moura’s journey as a cyclist and career as a band director started at UCLA and, for the past 23 years, he has shared his love for music with his students at Oak Grove HS.
If you believe in the power of music and the marching arts in public schools, please consider making a donation. $5, $25, $50, $100, $500, or any amount is greatly appreciated and will keep our marching program on the field performing at the highest level. Donations will be used primarily for additional staff to assist Mr. Moura.

The Oak Grove Band Boosters (OGBB) is a non-profit support organization (501c3) that assists the Band Director with funds and volunteers to make the program as successful as possible. OGBB is committed to the personal growth of students through a music and guard program that offers lasting friendships, a sense of pride, and an opportunity for the children to excel.
