This year's goal; $6,000.00!
My social media friends, here's your opportunity to contribute to Babes N Bonnets; a fundraiser created by Carmella Marcella Garcia celebrating it's 20th years, with ALL proceeds going the Orlando Youth Alliance. The Orlando Youth Alliance (OYA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which provides a safe space for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning (GLBTQ) youth to gather, talk about issues and concerns that are important in their lives, as well as meet other gay youth. OYA is a peer based youth group with members ranging from the ages of 13 to 24.
The Orlando Youth Alliance has a vital purpose in the Central Florida community. OYA is the only after-school option where teens meet other teens having the same feelings or dealing with the same problems which they are. OYA also collaborates with other organizations and causes in the Central Florida area which empowers our GLBTQ youth to be advocates and leaders in the community.
Being this is the 20th year of Carmella Marcella Garcia's Babe In Bonnets, I'm asking all to give generously in celebration of Carmella's long outstanding body of work as a female impersonator and community activist. With your generous donations lets make the Grand Ole Gal Of The South BABES IN BONNETS 20th year spectacular!
