Greetings Family and Friends,
On Saturday, August 11, 2018 the Hamilton Place Reunion will be celebrating its 28th Annual Family Day and I am preparing to make this year’s gathering even greater than last year’s. This year I planned some exciting activities that will engage the interests and creativity of the young participants at the Hamilton Place Reunion's Family Day. I invited the New York City Fire Department, who will speak with the children, distributed fire hats, coloring books, crayons and safety information. They will also allow the children to sit in the fire truck. I invited face painters who will paint the children’s faces in some of the most beautiful designs. The children will also enjoy a very exciting karate exhibition. I will give away some book bags, each filled with school supplies. In addition, there will be plenty of food, snacks and drinks for everyone in attendance. I would also like to add some team-building activities like a basketball tournament and bicycle give aways to promote increased physical activity among our children/youth. Also a sportsmanship - building contests that include relay races, dodge ball, musical chairs, hula hoop, water balloon toss, and a double dutch contest .
In order to make this year’s fun filled day of activities possible, I am asking my family, friends and community members to assist me with raising $2,500.00. Please make your donation to the 28th Annual Hamilton Place Reunion Children /Youth Day of Activities. Your donation will help make this day a memorable and happy time for the children and youth of all ages in our community.
