It’s that time of year again! The Cottonwood Elementary PTO fundraising committee has moved the “Non-A-Thon” to October so our students can see firsthand the benefits of their funds raised!
We are NOT going to ask you to bake, order, sell or run for funds. We are just going to ask for it!
The “Non-A-Thon” is the Cottonwood PTO’s biggest fundraiser of the year. This allows us to help provide our school, the teachers, the staff and most importantly our children with the resources needed to assist in their education.
YOUR donations over the last 2 years have been imparative to our students being able to keep our Accelerated Reading program! PTO funds this program 100% and ALL of the students at Cottonwood learn from it!

As stated last year, reading is the foundation of ALL learning and Cottonwood uses the AR (Accelerated Reader) program to help motivate the kids on their road to success. On average, the cost per student for AR is $10.00 and the chrome books needed to support AR average a cost of $300.00 per unit. It is imperative that we do everything possible to keep AR as the benefits our children receive are immeasurable. Last school year, because of EVERYONE’S participation, the PTO was able to fund AR for this 2017/2018 school year!
