We've had a very successful Annual Appeal and are nearly half way to our goal! As a Title 1 school with a large population of low-income children, your donation will help support vital programming that the bare bones Department of Education budget just doesn't cover.
PS 295 has a deep commitment to the arts. Each year PTA funds provide an additional $300 per student - $150,000 each year - to pay for music classes, after-school band and other arts initiatives.
PS 295 strives to provide developmentally appropriate, standards-based instruction through integrated teaching practices. Serving children from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, the school weaves music and the arts throughout the curriculum to engage every student and foster a love of learning.
