Fund Wednesday Spaghetti Dinner '16

Lutheran Church of the Cross has been feeding members of the Berkeley community Spaghetti Dinner on Wednesday night for over 10 years. In the last several months, particularly with the change in weather, we've found more people at our doors than ever before.

While we're grateful to be able to do God's work here and touch more lives here in the Berkeley community, our 2015 fundraising came up shorter than previous years and we're beginning to feel a pinch from the grater demand for our services. 

Lutheran Church of the Cross feeds from 80-180 people every Wednesday night, rain or shine. They could be people living on the street for a long time, or having recently found themselves down and out. They might be people on fixed incomes living in one of the several affordable housing options nearby our congregation. 

We are a mission-driven congregation, seeking to do the calling that we are drawn to do out in the world. We have volunteers always willing to lend a hand. What we need now is funds to keep the food on the plates of an ever increasing number of needy individuals.
