<div>My name is Martin Gallardo.
</div>
<div>I live in Cozumel, Mexico. I’m an endurance athlete, a husband, and most importantly, a father.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And because of that, this challenge means a lot
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together with Collin Chartier, former professional triathlete and coach from the United States who is running 24 hours around Washington Park on 3/28-3/29. We are going to run 200 kilometers around the island of Cozumel in December 2026— more than three full laps in the heat, the wind, and the long hours of the night.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But this run isn’t about distance.
</div>
<div>It’s about purpose.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are running to raise funds for Fundación Mark, an organization that creates and sustains playrooms inside pediatric oncology hospitals across Mexico. These spaces give children battling cancer something they desperately need: moments of normalcy, laughter, imagination, and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, Fundación Mark operates seven hospital playrooms in:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>State of Mexico
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mexico City
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tabasco
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Baja California Sur
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we reach our fundraising goal, we will secure one playroom’s operation for an entire year — ensuring that children facing the hardest fight of their lives still have a space to smile, play, and simply be kids.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As I prepare to welcome my own daughter into the world, I cannot imagine the strength these families must have. This run is my way of honoring them — and of turning physical endurance into something that truly matters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every mile will be dedicated to them.
</div>
<div>Every hour on the road will carry their names.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with us, for believing in this mission, and for helping us turn 200 kilometers into hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Me llamo Martin Gallardo.
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>En pocas semanas nacerá mi hija, Catalina.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>Se trata del propósito.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Estado de México
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ciudad de México
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tabasco
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Baja California Sur
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cada kilómetro será dedicado a ellos.
</div>
<div>Cada hora contará.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
