2 puppies rescued from Devore, one of the nation’s highest kill shelters.

Smoothie and Fabiola were exposed to Parvovirus on 5/01 by a kennelmate, who was then euthanized. 2 days later, their kennelmate Boba tested positive for Parvo and was euthanized while a rescue plan was being made for her. We knew Smoothie and Fabiola were in grave danger of euthanasia, and they were rescued from Devore on 5/04. The next morning they showed signs of parvo and were immediately taken to the veterinarian.

The puppies received the Parvovirus monoclonal antibody to give them the best chance at survival from this potentially lethal infection, and treatment for Giardia (they both tested positive).
