Cassandra Wren's Endometriosis Surgery 4 Christmas

My name is Joseph, and my wife Cassandra recently found out she has abdominal masses due to endometriosis. They set her "full abdominal hysterectomy" surgery for December 22, 2020. If she weren't the breadwinner (I'm legally disabled and therefore a stay-at-home dad to our 15 and 16 yr old kids) then I wouldn't be making this fundraiser for our family. We have a mortgage, car note, bills, and loans, but Cassandra doesn't have enough paid leave at work to cover one month, much less the two months that are needed for her recovery.
She works for the state and they might award her 40 hours from a shared leave pool due to the urgency of her situation, which doesn't allow her to put this off until she has more leave built up at work. The way we figure, we need to raise "bill money" for 2 months, each month costing almost 2k, so these 2 months will put us considerably behind.
Cassandra currently has around 75hrs l so i figured I'd call around and ask for help. There are agencies to help if the heat is cut off, and food banks, but the state and federal government don't have any aid for these situations. Our family has no choice but to take the full blow or reach out and perhaps offset some of this with a fundraiser. People say "Aww... and at Christmas", and I get that, but this situation is bad in any month and we are trying to keep our head above water through this hurdle.
We need help during her 2 months she is off, and we have 3 weeks before she has to have the surgery. We need help very soon. I hope I didn't find this opportunity too late for it to be effective. Even if we are not wildly successful in this campaign, anything helps and is appreciated.
